    You should try daytime and nighttime skiing in Palandöken that is a 10-minute drive from the city center.It is one of Türkiye's and the world's top winter sports centers with its proximity to the central district of Erzurum, a long ski season and night skiing service.

    The bastions are military structures built to defend Erzurum during the Russo-Turkish War, and particularly the most spectacular ones, Aziziye and Mecidiye bastions offer a bird's eye view of the city. You can also visit the graveyard of Nene Hatun, a female fighter who became an icon of the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78 with her heroic deeds, at Aziziye bastions.

    Tortum Lake and Waterfall are one of the world's top three lakes in terms formation of these geological structures, and fascinating wonders of nature with their unique reflections and landscaping.
